Flaunt Your Fire with India Jackson
/"Fitting in never created a legacy." ~India Jackson
I've got India Jackson on In Her Voice this week dropping truthbombs about what it means to flaunt your inner fire. This is for you if you have ever thought you were: weird, strange, quirky, awkward, boring, embarrassing, ordinary...you get the idea. We were not put on this earth to be like everyone else and when we start to own all of who we are we begin to belong to ourselves. And that is some epic belonging.
India Jackson is the CEO of Flaunt Your Fire, a visual marketing agency known for taking an unapologetically authentic strategy to branding and visibility that gets real ROI. From Christian Dior to coaches and their staff, over the last 11 years, her team has provided consulting, strategy, photography, training, and more for their clients. She has an Art + Design degree yet credits her unique perspective to her years of experience transitioning from model to published photographer and her pastime as an award-winning plant-based bodybuilder. India loves disrupting the way people view career labels, branding, visibility, and ultimately themselves.

Toughness and Enoughness with Sonja Wieck
/Sonja Wieck underwent a life affirming transformation taking her from an average stay-at-home mom who wanted to strive for more to a top Ironman triathlete, with nothing but passion, drive and determination. She can be seen leading her group of 3 men on Team Iron Cowboy on Mark Burnett’s new competition show “World’s Toughest Race Eco-Challenge Fiji” hosted by Bear Grylls premiering on Amazon Prime on August 14, 2020. At the ripe age of 40, she is a 6x Kona Ironman World Championship Qualifier and Competitor, has participated in 18 Ironman competitions, came in 2nd place at Kona Ironman World Female 35-39 age group (2015), was named the Ironman All World Female 35-39 Champion (2013), Tokyo’s Joe’s Athlete of the Month (2014), participated in multiple Ultramarathons finishing up to 100 miles, ran the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim in 12 hours, was named the Moab 100 mile Female Champion and 2nd overall (2010) and that’s just the half of it. She is the host of the brand new podcast called “Tales of Toughness” that will launch in August 2020 where each week she will feature interviews with some of the 330 participants on the “World’s Toughest Race Eco-Challenge Fiji.” Her mission is simple: to encourage men and women of all ages that you can push yourself to do the impossible, but if you strive for success and achievement for your own ego, you will be left unfulfilled. It is when you pursue your dreams for your own personal growth, you learn the most about yourself, and are able to show up best for others around you. Sonja wants people to know life is about more than ourselves but giving back and helping others, and this is what is missing from competitive sports. She currently resides in Los Osos, CA, near San Luis Obispo with her husband of 18 years and their 14-year-old daughter.
Sonja Wieck is here to share about her journey through toughness and enoughness. Despite being an 18X Ironman competitor and most recently a finisher on the World's Toughest Race EcoChallenge airing now on Amazon Prime, she struggled with embodying enoughness. You will love her perspective on the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of toughness and how that helped her to understand she is enough today.

Choosing as a Practice
/You are making choices all day long, whether you realize it or not. The interesting thing about choosing is that with every single choice you are either choosing something that will support you or something that won’t - even if you are doing nothing! (That’s right, doing nothing is also a choice!) I hope this episode encourages you to consider practicing choosing.
You are invited to join my Create the Life You Want Workshop, where you can take the time to listen to your inner voice to find what practices will support you in living the life you want to live and feel the way you want to feel each and every day, right now!
